Functional Consultant - Finance
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-orientedFunctional Consultant - Financeto join our development team. This role is perfect for individuals with an (Master of Commerce)degree and a strong background inComputer Applications who are eager to dive into financial systems and business process development. This entry-level position does not require prior experience but demands a solid understanding ofAccountingandFinance combined with technical proficiency and a passion for creating efficient financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze design and develop financial workflows and system functionalities.
- Gather and document business requirements translating them into functional and technical specifications for system development.
- Participate in the development and customization of financial modules within ERP systems or financial platforms ensuring they meet business and compliance needs.
- Develop and execute testing plans to validate system configurations identify issues and ensure seamless performance of financial modules.
- Support the integration of financial systems with other business modules or external platforms ensuring smooth data flow and functionality.
- Provide end-to-end technical and functional support during project lifecycles from requirement gathering through implementation and post-deployment.
- Contribute to the development of user interfaces and workflows for accounting financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- Create and maintain technical and functional documentation ensuring all configurations customizations and processes are thoroughly documented.
Required Qualifications:
- (Master of Commerce) with expertise in Computer Applications focusing on Accounting and Finance.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies SQL and financial system customization.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles financial processes and reporting standards.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying system improvement opportunities and implementing effective solutions.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
