Job Description:

Under the overall guidance of the Head of Distribution Excellence the role will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver outcomes to our external business partners. The role allows for maximum exposure to the full panorama of different functions in an insurance company anchoring in and with the Distribution function.

These different functions include Compliance Legal Marketing Products Technology and others.

The role will also be representing Distribution in initiatives related to development of marketing materials in particularly Chinese materials of varying types including brand product events related and other general materials used digitally socially or across other channels for both internal and external business partners. This may include not only creating designs or crafting text but also coordinating and reviewing translations and others with vendors for material development and website updates.

  • Detail-oriented and meticulous

  • Analytical with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Chinese (Proficiency in Business Chinese is a plus)
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Resourcefulness and adaptability to changes

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field

  • Communication and Coordination

  • Ensuring accurate information communicated timely across internal stakeholders / external business partners.
  • Collaborating with Marketing team to create briefs or first cut of marketing materials for use.
  • Data Management

  • Reviewing of Distribution and Product Related Materials (English and Chinese)
  • Maintaining Distribution and Product Related Materials in online Portal accessible by external business partners.
  • Maintaining external business partners contact details
  • Events Management

  • Supporting Distribution related events.
  • Risk Management

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across all distribution channels supporting the team in risk mitigation efforts.
  • Coordinate between external business partners and internal stakeholders on due diligence requirements.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Validation of UAT Results related to enhancements in online Portal.
  • Monitoring business quality from external business partners.
  • User Access Management in Sun Life system

  • Gathering information from external business partners for system set up purpose.
  • Validation of user accesss rights to online Portal and internal system.
  • Any ad-hoc activities and projects related to Distribution.
