Job Summary
CapX Project Manager Leading Projects That Shape Communities
Location: Irving TX (corporate office)
Up to 60% travel required - MUST have distressed property renovation experience!
- Years of experience: 510 years of project management / construction oversight (especially in multifamily renovation property repositioning)
- Technical skills: Knowledge in structural repairs foundation work exterior systems HVAC site work value-add renovations
- Portfolio size: Projects in the $200K$2M range (or combinations thereof) or oversight across multiple small-to-mid budgets
- Geographic preference: Dallas Texas or willing to relocate / multi-state travel
- Soft skill: Problem solver strong communicator vendor/contractor management hands-on when needed ability to manage ambiguity
- Certifications / education: Bachelors in Construction Management Civil Engineering Architecture or related; PMP LEED etc. a plus
About the Role
As a Project Manager youll oversee capital projects that directly impact the lives of residents and the communities they call home. From planning to execution youll ensure projects are completed on time on budget and with excellence.
What Youll Do
- Manage capital projects from start to finish.
- Oversee contractors schedules budgets and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with property teams and leadership to align construction with community needs.
- Monitor quality and ensure projects meet company standards.
- Troubleshoot challenges and keep projects moving forward with solutions-focused leadership.
What Were Looking For
- Experience managing multi-family or residential capital projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices safety protocols and building codes.
- Excellent organizational scheduling and budgeting skills.
- A problem-solver with strong communication and leadership abilities.
