As a global leader in advanced mobility solutions our outstanding team of legal professionals helps us navigate the continually changing legal and regulatory our Office of General Counsel youll be part of an organization that collaborates with outside counsel to operate as a global team and deliver world-class legal tax and audit services to client groups throughout the company.

In this position...

  • This individual is responsible for executing Ford Lands real estate development and infrastructure projects and strategy. This individual will also be responsible for campus master planning governing specifications and standards and developing and engaging local governments and municipalities.
  • This individual will partner closely with Ford Lands Project Management Office (PMO) and must effectively build trust and relationships within Ford Land as well as throughout the wider Ford Motor Company organization.
  • The ideal candidate is a skilled operational leader who has a unique blend of problem-solving capabilities strategic analytical thinking and possesses technical knowledge across a broad and detailed set of functional processes. Excellent communication skills change management experience and a deep understanding of corporate real estate are imperative to collaborating


Responsibilities

What youll do...

  • Provide management and leadership across the organization with regard to campus master planning project management infrastructure and best practices which align with the business objectives and overall strategic vision set forth by the executive leadership team.
  • Provide accurate and timely data and reporting delivering insightful analytics to all levels of the organization.
  • Partner with Project Management Team and PMO on budgeting forecasting and resource allocation programs.
  • Identify foster and secure strategic partnerships and appropriate internal and external stakeholders and vendors creating high value solutions in line with company objectives.
  • Establish strong and effective links with other key Ford Land business functions and external stakeholders


Qualifications

Youll have...

  • Bachelors degree in a related field.
  • Extensive experience in Project Management
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience with a Masters or 8 years of experience with a Bachelors degree in Real Estate or other progressive industries.

Even better you may have...

  • Masters degree in a related field.
  • Strong collaborative interpersonal skills including conflict resolution negotiation and creative problem solving.
  • Experience with R/E process R/E technology and data & analytics
  • Experience in scheduling and budgeting
  • Possess a balance of business and financial acumen as well as technical real estate acumen. A strong personal presence poise and excellent communication skills must also be in evidence
  • Ability to lead a team using human-centric thinking
  • Ability to interface at all levels of an organization internally and externally; must be a highly regarded and respected individual while possessing a personal code of conduct a history of success and professional credentials that will serve as a signal to the rest of the organization of the importance of Ford Land in the success of Ford Motor Company.
  • Possess organizational agility and be knowledgeable about how organizations work and how to get things done through formal channels as well as the informal network. As such he or she must understand the origin and reasoning behind key policies practices and procedures while understanding the culture of the enterprise.
