Evaluation Period: Annual performance evaluations if the student works the entire academic year. If the student works one semester the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester

Purpose: The Student Employee will be responsible for assisting athletic trainers with practice and game day operations. This includes field set up managing water stations and equipment and helping with non-medical functions of practice and games.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Setup equipment and hydration stations for football practices and home games
Refill water bottles and coolers as necessary during practices and games
Collect clean and maintain all equipment as assigned by Athletic Trainers
Other duties as assigned

This is a seasonal position with the ability to continue work based on performance and needs of the department.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled student at Mount St. Joseph University
Work Study eligible
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be outside during hot or inclement weather
Able to be present at all practices during the week for the duration of the practice and for multiple hours before during and after home football games
Ability to work on own initiative independently and to deadlines
Well organized punctual and reliable
The ability to communicate sensitively and tactfully both orally and in writing with individuals at all levels within the University
