Subcontracts Manager

Intra Management is supporting a confidential aerospace and defense client in the search for aSubcontracts Administrator. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in subcontract management FAR/DFARS compliance and supplier performance oversight. Youll play a key role in supporting critical programs and driving operational excellence across the supply chain.

Role Summary

The Subcontracts Administrator (SCA) is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of subcontracting activitiesfrom requirements definition and RFPs to execution and performance management. Youll partner cross-functionally with legal procurement engineering manufacturing program management and quality teams to ensure subcontractors deliver on-time on-budget and in compliance with government regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end subcontract process including RFP/RFQs factfinding negotiations and subcontract modifications.
• Ensure supplier compliance with company Terms & Conditions FAR/DFARS and trade/legal requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (legal procurement trade compliance engineering manufacturing quality program controls).
• Drive supplier performance risk management and issue resolution (quality schedule delivery financials).
• Generate subcontractor performance metrics and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee invoice reconciliation and support Accounts Payable processes.
• Contribute to supplier improvement initiatives and integrate results into contracting strategies.
• Ensure subcontract data and documentation adhere to internal controls DCAA audits and AS9100 standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience in Subcontracts Contracts Business Management Finance Supply Chain or related field.
• Prior aerospace subcontracting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and relevant procurement regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in Supply Chain or related business field.
• Experience as a Subcontracts Administrator or Aerospace Buyer.
• Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint ERP.
• Strong executive-level briefing skills.
• Active security clearance (SAP/SAR preferred).
