- Provide comprehensive general surgical
- Collaborate with a regional team of Consultants, GP Anaesthetists, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Participate in on-call surgical roster for emergency presentations.
- Undertake outreach surgical clinics to remote communities.
- Mentor, supervise, and inspire junior doctors and trainees in a highly regarded teaching environment.
- Contribute to closing the gap in Indigenous health through culturally safe, patient-centred care.
- Competitive Salary: $575k $684k p.a.
- Generous Leave: 4 weeks annual leave 3 weeks PDL long service & cultural leave entitlements.
- Regional Benefits: District allowance, accommodation subsidies, air conditioner subsidies & travel days.
- Salary Packaging: Up to $9,010 for living expenses $2,650 for meals.
- Relocation Support: Interstate and overseas relocation expenses reimbursed (conditions apply).
- Visa & PR Sponsorship: Employer-sponsored visa pathways available.
- Currently reside in Australia
- Hold unrestricted General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Have at least two years of clinical experience in Australia or a recognised Competent Authority country
