Roles and Responsibilities:
Owning and delivering as individual contributor Systems projects that requires integration of Key image chain components and achieve the best possible image quality within the defined design constraints of the product.
Supporting issues from field and factory on Image quality issues
Coordinating with system/product teams to understand subsystem impact on system clinical needs.
Establishes product requirements (internal and external) defines components and sub systems making up the overall architecture. Defines and provides scope management.
Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own -depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills. Provides informal guidance to new team members.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical engineering Medical Electronics Biomedical engineering or Systems engineering Physics with over seven years experience in a technical discipline
PhD/masters in electrical/ Electronics/ Biomedical/ Medical Electronics/Systems engineering or Physics with over five years experience in a technical discipline.
Required Qualifications:
Good working knowledge on signal/image processing and generation
Excellent understanding in functional characteristics and integration of hardware firmware and software systems.
Proficient in Matlab/C/C/Python coding for rapid prototyping
Demonstrated ability to develop timely and effective solution for challenging design problems
Demonstrated ability to make recommendations to technical and program leadership to improve product/process development
Effective written and oral communication skills
Desired Characteristics:
Knowledge on system modeling & model-based systems engineering
Knowledge on CT image quality and image reconstruction
Broad exposure to HW/FW/SW/Systems design and technical depth in more than one engineering discipline.
