Job Description
Job Title: Locum Physician - Interventional Cardiology
Join us in Boise Idaho!
We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to provide essential care in a thriving healthcare facility known for its high standards and support for medical professionals. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to focus on inpatient care with the primary responsibility of call coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Provide call coverage working with an inpatient only model.
- Conduct consultations and perform procedures with a patient volume that averages 3 consults and 2 procedures per day.
- Participate in trauma care at a Level II trauma facility.
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers for patient care during the day and telephone support on weekends.
- Perform required interventional cardiology procedures including TEEs balloon pumps coronary stents IVUs and IFR.
- Manage varying STEMI volumes with an average of 3 STEMI activations per week.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology - REQUIRED
- Active Idaho license or active IMLC - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice record and no history of disciplinary actions - REQUIRED
- Availability to cover most or all open dates - REQUIRED
- Local candidates preferred; travel arrangements available for others.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- State Medical License (Idaho) or IMLC compliance.
- Board Certification - Interventional Cardiology.
- Current life support certifications (BLS mandatory).
