Job Opportunity: Locum Interventional Cardiologist in Boise ID
Join a leading regional medical center in beautiful Boise Idaho! Our facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to provide critical inpatient care during various call coverage periods. Experience a supportive environment with dedicated APP professionals and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient care as the solo Interventional Cardiologist on call.
- Perform interventional cardiology procedures including TEEs balloon pumps coronary stents and IVUs.
- Consult with patients averaging 3 consults and 2 procedures per day.
- Respond to STEMI activations and collaborate with the trauma team.
- Ensure continuous patient monitoring and care in the ICU and telemetry units.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain high standards of professionalism.
- Participate in collaborative decision-making with APP support staff.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
- Active Idaho medical license or active IMLC.
- Clean malpractice history and no legal background issues.
- Ability to cover most or all specified call dates.
- COVID-19 vaccination verification required.
- Local candidates preferred no flight arrangements needed.
License and Certification Requirements:
- MD diploma and relevant certifications from internship residency and fellowship.
- DEA certification and Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology.
- Current life support certifications including BLS.
- All necessary immunization records.
