Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Estimator for a direct hire opportunity in Houston TX
Overview of role:
Overseeing the estimation for commercial electrical projects.
Pay: $100-140K
Benefits: This position offers benefits including PTO Medical Dental and Vision Insurance and yearly profit sharing
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm

Key Responsibilities for Electrical Estimator:
- Review blueprints specifications and project documents to develop accurate electrical cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs of electrical systems including lighting power distribution conduit wiring and low-voltage systems.
- Prepare labor material equipment and subcontractor cost estimates in line with project scope and deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and clients to clarify scope resolve discrepancies and ensure alignment on project requirements.
- Analyze vendor and subcontractor quotes for accuracy competitiveness and compliance with project specifications.
- Develop and maintain cost databases unit pricing and historical data for estimating accuracy and efficiency.
- Proven experience (Minimum 5 years) as an Electrical Estimator in commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems codes and industry standards (NEC NFPA etc.).
- Proficiency in estimating software (EBM preferred not required).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings blueprints and project specifications.
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering Construction Management or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Valid electrical license or journeyman/master certification a plus.
