Medi-Plex Healthcare is seeking Certified NurseAssistants to deliver varied social work services to Hospice patientsand their families. To provide initialemotional spiritual psychosocial assessments ongoing counseling bereavementservices and community education outreach and referral. The Hospice CNA is an integral part of theHospice IDG.

Responsibilities:

ÂProvide clients with personal hygiene by givingbedpans urinals baths and shaves; assisting clients to the bathroom; helpingwith showers.

ÂHelp assist with daily living activities byassisting with serving meals feeding as necessary; ambulating turning liftingpositioning clients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.

Maintain client stability by checking vital signs and weight; recording intake and output information.
Provides client with comfort by answering requests; reporting observations of the client to the Clinical Manager.
Documents actions by completing forms reports logs and records.
Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time & PRN

Qualifications:

ÂCertified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) license required.

ÂCurrent CPRcertification preferred; No Felony record or Statedisqualification.

Excellent observation good clinical judgment and good oral and written communication skills.
Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision; has good organizational skills.

ÂAbility to be able to lift/carry 65pounds; bending reaching pushing pulling lifting.

ÂMustbe registered on the Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) - $15.25 fee (Cash orMoney order only).

Must possess a second form of ID (Social Security Card or Birth Certificate).
