Overview

General Labourer - Kelowna

ORourke Family Vineyards is seeking a hardworking and dependable General Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various tasks including operating machinery assisting skilled tradespeople maintaining site safety moving equipment and materials and ensuring efficient workflow. A valid Class 5 drivers license and the ability to operate a forklift are required.

Role type: Seasonal full time

Responsibilities:

Assist in site preparation including clearing debris loading/unloading materials and setting up equipment.
Operate forklifts to transport materials around the site safely and efficiently.
Safely operate a variety of hand tools power tools and machinery as needed.
Support skilled tradespeople (mechanicscarpenters etc.) with tasks as required.
Drive company vehicles to transport materials tools and crew to and from job sites.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Perform other general labor tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Physical endurance being able to lift 50 lbs. at a time

The ideal candidate has:

Valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record
Forklift operation certification and experience. Or willing to get certified
Ability to lift 50Lbs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Reliable punctual and committed to safety

Employee Benefits:

Compensation: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
