E-logic is seeking a Lead Senior Systems Administrator (Unix/Linux) will manage and maintain Linux/Unix-based systems ensuring availability performance and compliance with security standards in the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). The candidate will be willing to travel in different states like District of Colombia Virgina Maryland California Florida and Rhode Island.
Responsibilities:
- Install configure monitor and maintain Unix/Linux servers.
- Apply security patches updates and system hardening in compliance with DoD guidelines.
- Manage backups restores and disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot performance and operational issues.
- Support virtualization cloud integration and hybrid deployments.
Qualifications:
- 6 years of professional experience in Unix/Linux system administration.
- Expertise in backup/recovery software management system security hardware/software installation troubleshooting and tuning.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP and major security tools (e.g. firewalls) plus vulnerability management.
- Required IAT III certification with T5 clearance.
