Product Owner Tech Enablement & Optimization is responsible for defining and delivering business technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency scalability and innovation. This role acts as the voice of the business within agile delivery teams translating strategic objectives into actionable product roadmaps and ensuring that technology investments drive measurable business outcomes. The Product Owner Tech Enablement & Optimization will act as a liaison between business stakeholders data & application development teams as well as other technology partners. Project Management user acceptance testing and leading implementation efforts are additional responsibilities within the role.

  • Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and IT teams to gather analyze and prioritize requirements.
  • Develop detailed product roadmaps in alignment with the overall business strategy for commercial insurance products which include General Liability Excess Professional Lines and Garage.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to design technological solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that technology initiatives are in line with compliance risk management and other corporate policies.
  • Translate business needs into actionable requirements user stories and acceptance criteria for agile development teams.
  • Monitor product KPIs and work closely with data analysts to measure and report on product performance.
  • Validate that technology deliverables meet defined requirements and business objectives.
  • Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and oversee the product release process in collaboration with QA and IT teams.
  • Managing overall business product.
  • Defining product vision and working closely with a cross-functional team to ensure fulfillment of product performance.
  • Leading major releases and ensuring feature enhancements respond to customer requests.
  • Analyze existing workflows and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Drive automation digitization and process redesign initiatives.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to support successful implementation.
  • Track and report KPIs ROI and project milestones.
  • Continuously assess impact and recommend enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business Information Systems or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or similar roles preferably within the commercial insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and software development lifecycles.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • Self-motivated analytical and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA & Azure Dev Ops Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong sense of urgency.
  • Effective prioritization and desk management as to meet competing demands.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Ability to lead change management and drive user adoption.
