As an Ortho Neuro Nurse at CHI St Vincent - Hot Springs youll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac telemetry orthopedics neurology critical care surgical services and emergency.

CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is a 280 bed faith-based non-profit Magnet Accredited facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. As the only level II trauma center in the southwest part of the state CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is the regional referral center for cardiology trauma neuro ortho oncology and critical care/pulmonary. We have also been voted as one of Arkansas Best Places to Work by Arkansas Business since 2019. We have earned top patient safety ratings from Leapfrog and was recently named as one of the Nations 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals in Fortune and PINC AI.

Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Deliver the best possible care to your set of assigned patients
- Administer medications change dressings monitor vital signs and chart with timely documentation
- Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work care coordination physical therapy occupational therapy lab respiratory therapy and imaging
Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse License in good standing (State of Arkansas or compact state required prior to hire)
- 6 months of acute care experience is required (new graduates or nurses who have never worked in an acute care setting are hired through our residency training program)
- Previous med surg experience is preferred but not required
- BLS through the American Heart Association is required
- Additional certifications (like ACLS or PALS) may be required depending on the unit
