Help shape the future of U.S. airspace safety and efficiency. We are seeking aTelecommunications Workstream Product Owner to join our team of qualified diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will lead the strategy prioritization and delivery of FAA telecommunications modernization this role you will serve as the primary liaison between FAA stakeholders technical teams and Agile delivery groups ensuring that telecommunications systems including voice data fiber and IP-based networks are modernized to meet FAAs mission requirements. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth experience in federal contracting while supporting high-visibility aviation programs.
In this position you will:
- Own the product backlog define features and user stories and ensure that every delivery cycle advances FAAs ability to maintainsafe resilient and future-ready communications.
- Ability to define and trackkey performance indicators (KPIs) and value metrics.
- Serve as theProduct Ownerfor FAA telecommunications workstream modernization initiatives.
- Define and manage theproduct vision roadmap and backlogfor telecommunications systems.
- Translate FAA mission and stakeholder requirements intoclear features epics and user stories.
- Leadbacklog refinement sprint planning and release prioritizationwith Agile teams.
- Collaborate with engineers safety leads and cybersecurity specialists to ensuredesign compliance with FAA and federal standards.
- Ensure successful integration ofvoice data and IP-based systemswith NAS infrastructure.
- Overseetesting validation and acceptanceof telecommunications solutions.
- Provideprogress reports KPIs and performance metricsto FAA leadership.
- Identify and managerisks dependencies and trade-offsacross modernization workstreams.
- Act as thevoice of FAA stakeholders balancing operational safety and technical priorities.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelors degree and 12 years of experience; or Masters degree and 10 years; or Associates degree and 14 years experience; or HS diploma/equivalent and 16 years experience.
- Experience in product ownership systems engineering or telecommunications program management.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum SAFe or equivalent).
- Strong background in telecommunications systems (voice fiber data and IP-based infrastructure).
- Strong understanding of system interoperability resiliency and modernization challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity withFAA Safety Management System (SMS)principles and compliance requirements.
Knowledge ofFAA acquisition processes and AMS standards.
- Direct FAA or NAS configuration management experience.
Certifications such asCertified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) SAFe POPM or PMP.
Experience supportingFAA NextGen modernization programsor telecommunications infrastructure initiatives.
Familiarity withinternational telecommunications and aviation standards (ITU-T ICAO).
Background infederal cybersecurity frameworks (Zero Trust NIST RMF FedRAMP)as applied to telecommunications.
Experience contributing tofederal policy advisory boards or industry working groups.

Target Salary Range
$104000 - $166000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
