Job Description
As an Accounting Operations Intern at Rocket youll gain valuable hands-on experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes while supporting our financial management team. Youll develop practical skills in transaction processing financial reporting and system operations while working in a collaborative environment that values your contributions and supports your professional growth.
About the role
Assist with processing vendor invoices payment tracking and reconciliation
Support AR functions including billing collections and customer account updates
Prepare and review financial reports and journal entries
Help troubleshoot transaction discrepancies in financial systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting workflows
Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis
Gain exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting tools
About you
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting Finance or related field
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
