Speech and Language Therapist Mainstream Further Education Setting (London)
Location: London EN5 N14 NW9 (Three Campuses)
Contract Type: Academic Year (ASAP Start 4th July 2026)
Hours: 30 hours per week (Term-Time)
Salary: Competitive based on experience
RGH-Global is recruiting on behalf of a respected mainstream further education provider in London for a Speech and Language Therapist to support students across three campuses in the EN5 N14 and NW9 postcode areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment with a focus on communication development inclusion and staff empowerment.
We are ideally seeking one therapist to cover all three campuses with a structured weekly schedule:
- EN5 Campus: Mondays (6 hours) & Tuesdays (6.5 hours)
- N14 Campus: Wednesdays (6 hours) & Thursdays (6.5 hours)
- NW9 Campus: Fridays (5 hours)
About the Role
You will be supporting approximately 70 students primarily through:
- Small group sessions and occasional 1:1 interventions
- Classroom observations and collaborative planning
- Staff upskilling and informal training to embed communication strategies
This role is ideal for a therapist who enjoys working across multiple sites values collaborative practice and is passionate about enabling students to thrive in mainstream education.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and contribute to EHCP reviews
- Develop and monitor individualised therapy programmes
- Deliver direct interventions and support staff with implementation
- Collaborate with teaching teams to embed communication strategies
- Provide informal training and coaching to staff
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress tracking
Requirements
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration
- Experience working in educational settings ideally with young people aged 16
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple campuses
- Confidence in delivering both direct and indirect interventions
