What youll do:

  • Lead and oversee multiple complex external audit engagements ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards
  • Coach mentor and develop managers and senior associates building strong resilient and high-performing teams
  • Manage key client relationships acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities to add value beyond the audit
  • Provide technical leadership on complex accounting and auditing matters influencing both clients and internal stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in audit methodology tools and client service delivery
  • Collaborate with leaders across PwC to support business growth risk management and operational excellence

What were looking for:

  • Significant external audit experience (typically 8 years) ideally with extensive exposure to Energy Utilities & Resources or related sectors
  • Completion of a recognised CA or CPA qualification
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills with experience managing multiple teams and engagements
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to build trusted relationships with senior client executives
  • Deep technical expertise in auditing standards financial reporting frameworks and regulatory requirements
  • A proactive strategic thinker with excellent communication and influencing skills
