Job Description Summary
Logistics Student:
- To gain experience as part of a Distribution Team with responsibility for preparing and creating all export documentation for all deliveries ex- GE HealthCare Cork plant
- To Learn various aspects of Logistics within the Supply chain of a Lean Pharmaceutical Manufacturing facility with guidance from current employees.
- Work Closely with Customer Service Planning Quality Commercial and Manufacturing departments to respond swiftly to customers regarding issues with products & deliveries.
- Works closely with Freight Forwarders on pre- booking shipments via all modes (Air Sea Road)
Responsibilities include assisting with the following:
- Coordinate and communicate shipment delivery requirements to Freight Forwarders
- Liaise with Internal Departments (QP/QA) to ensure on time batch release for Shipments
- Create Sales & Purchase Orders for European US & Global Intercompany Markets
- Complete all required export documentation for GE Healthcare Customers
- Support other product shipments such as Samples Intercompany shipments & other Inventory as required.
- Work Closely with Customer Service and Manufacturing to respond swiftly to customers regarding any issues with products & deliveries.
- Ensure all processes and documentation is in accordance with GEHC & ITC (International Trade Control) compliance requirements
- Prepare such documents as Invoices Certs of Origin Certs of Analysis Picking Lists . for required markets
