About the role
As the General Manager for the North Coast Region youll be at the helm guiding and inspiring multiple teams across various functional areas and locations. Your leadership will be crucial in managing operations and resources for services in biosecurity natural resource management primary production advice and emergency management. Additionally youll spearhead your regions response to LLS programs during emergencies.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Delivery youll oversee a diverse team handling complex projects youll also foster relationships and collaborate with inter-government working groups to enhance effective management. Working closely with the North Coast LLS Regional Board youll be responsible for the financial and milestone performance for the region along with people and asset management.
About you
To excel in this role you need to be a dynamic leader with a track record of successfully delivering projects and programs in complex environments. Your passion for Regional NSW and its landholders coupled with a deep understanding of the challenges they face will be crucial.
You should have extensive experience in negotiation and influencing across various business units in both government and private sectors. Your ability to develop and manage high-performing multidisciplinary teams will set you apart.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders is essential. You should be adept at using collaboration to drive business improvements.
As a proven leader you will support and develop your team enhancing their capabilities. Given that your team is spread across the region effective remote management skills are vital and a drivers license is a must for this role.
