Job Summary

As an Appliance and Installation Sales Specialist youll engage with customers to understand their needs preferences and budget while providing expert service and recommendations both in stores and in their homes. Youll provide expertise and design proposals to customers seeking premium appliance solutions. Youll then ensure products are delivered and installed including post-sale support and follow-up. Youll also partner with outside sales to coordinate all aspects of each project from beginning to this role youll work across a local micro-market of Best Buy stores.

What youll do
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of all products in the appliance category including specifications features and benefits
  • Achieve appliance sales targets
  • Resolve customer inquiries complaints and returns in a professional manner
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management including customer feedback and market trends
  • Prioritize activities based on urgency and importance set realistic deadlines and use available resources to manage time effectively
  • Maintain appliance department merchandizing and organization
Basic qualifications
  • 2 years of customer relationship management experience or military service equivalent
  • 2 years of experience building complex solutions in sales customer service or related fields
  • 2 years of sales experience in specialty products luxury brands custom design or premium products or military service equivalent
  • Current valid drivers license
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards (e.g. minimal number of violations/accidents etc.)
  • Acquire and maintain any state or local licensing as required within 90 days of hire
Preferred qualifications
  • Previous experience driving strategic business initiatives
  • 2 years of experience in project management
  • 2 years of leadership experience in business military or related fields
