Sr. Web QA Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our web team. As a Sr. QA Analyst you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality usability and overall quality of our marketing websites. You will collaborate closely with developers designers and project managers to identify document and resolve issues - ultimately delivering an exceptional user experience to our customers.

What Youll Do:

• Perform thorough testing of marketing websites across various browsers devices and screen sizes to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.

• Identify document and track bugs and issues using issue tracking systems (e.g. Workfront Jira) and ensure timely resolution.

• Conduct regression testing to verify that defects have been fixed and that no new issues have been introduced.

• Proactively review our website on a weekly basis for new and unexpected issues and discrepancies.

• Perform usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness and intuitiveness of user interfaces and provide recommendations for enhancements.

• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices trends and emerging technologies related to web development and quality assurance.

• Assist in the ongoing development and maintenance of QA documentation including test plans test cases and release notes as well as process improvements.

What youll Need:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 5-7 years of strong experience in quality assurance for web development and web design projects.

• Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and HTTP protocols.

• Experience with QA methodologies tools and processes including test planning test case development and defect tracking.

• Experience with AEM is a must.

• Proficiency in using QA tools such as Browserstack or similar automated testing frameworks.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to articulate issues clearly and concisely.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment with a focus on achieving collective goals.

• Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing priorities and deadlines.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Location: Pune India

Shift: Rotational : 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST or 6.30 PM to 3.30 AM IST)
