Division: PwC Private Tax Services
Job Title: Senior Associate
The primary focus of the role is to prepare and manage (with the support of the manager/ senior
manager) multiple audits of tax compliance and tax accounting assignments in the PwC
Private tax practice and to deliver quality tax services.
Responsibilities of the role:
Manage and perform corporate tax accounting assignments.
Manage and perform audit of tax assignments.
Manage and perform corporate tax compliance assignments including preparation review and submission of:
Income tax
Provisional tax returns
SARS verification request
withholding tax returns.
Builds new and manages existing client relationships and demonstrates basic knowledge of clients businesses.
Liaising with SARS and handling queries raised by SARS.
Engage in technical discussions with colleagues and clients and draft written technical responses.
Manages multiple clients budgets and production goals and comply with firm risk policies and procedures.
Be able to demonstrate use of AI tools in deliverables and internal processes.
Qualifications and experience:
BCom Accounting or Post graduate Degree or Diploma in taxation completed
Completed SAIT articles
At least 1 year post SAIT article experience in a corporate income tax position
