Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica / DataStage / AWS PySpark Developer with strong ETL experience to join our dynamic data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have up to 7 years of experience in data integration ETL processes and a solid understanding of SQL. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the design development and implementation of data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- ETL Development: Design develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica DataStage and AWS PySpark to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data integration solutions that meet business needs.
- SQL Proficiency: Write complex SQL queries for data extraction transformation and loading ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure high-quality data delivery.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes data flows and system architecture.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts data scientists and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide technical support.
- Cloud Technologies: Utilize AWS services (such as S3 Redshift and Glue) to enhance data processing and storage capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Up to 7 years of hands-on experience in ETL development using Informatica DataStage and AWS PySpark.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica DataStage).
- Proficiency in AWS services related to data processing and storage.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience in writing complex queries.
- Data Integration: Proven experience in data integration techniques and methodologies.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in Informatica DataStage AWS or data engineering are a plus.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools.
