If youre skilled in delivering specialized instruction developing individualized education plans and supporting students with autism or other behavioral health needs this role is for you.

In this position youll play a key role in creating a positive structured and inclusive learning environment that helps children thrive academically socially and behaviorally.

What Youll Do As A Special Education Teacher:

• Plan and deliver specialized instruction tailored to each students individualized education plan (IEP)
• Adapt lessons and materials to meet the diverse needs of children with learning differences
• Teach social emotional and behavioral skills using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Lead the development implementation and monitoring of IEPs in collaboration with families and support staff
• Track student progress using data-driven decision-making to ensure meaningful academic and behavioral gains
• Maintain accurate records and support compliance with all special education requirements

Requirements For Our Special Education Teacher:

• Bachelors degree in special education or a related field
• Active Special Education Certification from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Completion of Safe Crisis Management Training (provided if needed)
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of working with children (standing kneeling lifting etc.)
• Participation in Back-to-School Night and required professional development
• A valid drivers license with a clean driving record

Our Ideal Special Education Teacher:

• Experience working with children with autism using ABA strategies is highly desired
• Excellent problem-solving time management and organizational skills
• A team player who communicates well and adapts to student needs
• Ability to travel between school sites as needed

• Starting Salary: $54000/year (increases with education/certification)
• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) with no evenings or weekends
