About the role

Were searching for experienced and compassionate Home Care Support Workers to assist older clients in the community. Youll play a key role in helping clients remain independent in their own homes supporting their dignity safety and quality of life. We have shifts available based on client demand Monday Friday 6am 6pm.

Duties will include:

  • Providing personal care support such as showering grooming and personal hygiene
  • Supporting with meal preparation household cleaning laundry and ironing
  • Assisting with shopping medical appointments and social outings
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in a clients health or behaviour escalating concerns to ensure safety
  • Delivering care in line with individual Care Plans and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Travelling between client homes within your local service area including Sydney CBD Bondi Coogee Randwick Bellevue Hill Vaucluse Double Bay Rose Bay Paddington and Watsons Bay

Skills and Requirements

  • Current drivers licence and reliable car with comprehensive insurance
  • Certificate III IV or Diploma in Aged Care Home Care Disability or related field
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Clear verbal communication skills to engage effectively with older clients
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Reliability punctuality and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
  • Flexibility in hours and approach with availability aligned to client needs
  • Ability to review and accurately document care plans
  • Experience using mobility aids and assisting with client hoisting (advantageous)
