Job Summary
OX2 is expanding its Energy Storage business and is now looking for a BESS Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and contracting of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and related insurances for our growing portfolio of utility-scale storage projects.
You will be a key player in ensuring the delivery of high-quality and cost-efficient storage systems working closely with both internal teams (Engineering Construction Development Investments) and external stakeholders (suppliers EPCs advisors). Your role will involve strategic procurement commercial negotiation risk management and supplier relations all critical for project success.
Your key responsibilities
- Procure integrated energy storage systems including batteries PCS control systems transformers and switchgear
- Lead contract negotiations aligned with OX2s technical commercial and ESG requirements
- Support technical teams in selecting components with the right commercial and contractual fit
- Manage supplier due diligence insurance procurement and claims
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers globally
- Contribute to improving procurement templates processes and lessons learned
- Monitor CAPEX/OPEX benchmarks and evolving market trends
- Ensure compliance with procurement-related regulations
What were looking for
You have:
- 5 years experience in BESS procurement or sales for utility-scale projects across multiple countries
- Proven skills in commercial negotiation risk assessment and contract management
- Strong technical understanding of energy storage systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English (other languages such as Polish Italian Swedish or Finnish are a plus)

Location & Travel
This is an international role based in one of OX2s key offices: Stockholm Milan Warsaw or Helsinki. Regular travel across Europe and to supplier sites (including Asia) is expected.
