Are you an experienced people leader looking for an opportunity to shape the future of customs operations within a global logistics powerhouse AtMaersk were not just moving cargowere transforming the way global trade flows. As we expand our presence in Poland were searching for aCustoms Operations Managerto lead and inspire a team of nearly 90 professionals in our newWarsaw GSC.
This is ahigh-impact leadership role where youll be responsible for developing a team of 40 professionals helping define and implement core processes and infrastructure that deliverefficient predictable and customer-focused services. Youll lead key projects continuously improving workflows to optimize productivity while fostering aculture of excellence and innovation. Managing such a large team means thatyour leadership will be crucialin driving performance supporting change initiatives and ensuring that we operate in alignment with Maersks global strategy.
Collaboration is at the heart of this roleyoullbuild and maintain strong relationshipswith internal stakeholders across different functions ensuring smooth communication and operational efficiency. With yourstrategic mindset youll play a key role indriving change processes helping teams adapt and improving overall productivity.
Who are we looking for
To excel in this role youll bring aproven track record of people leadership of Customs Teams (30 people plus) with at leastfive years of experience guiding and developing teamsin a fast-paced environment. Your ability tomanage stakeholders in a large organizationwill be key to ensuring smooth collaboration and operational success.
Acontinuous improvement mindsetis essentialyoull be someone who actively seeks out opportunities to optimize processes and drive efficiency. Yourend-to-end process thinking and strong analytical skillswill help you identify trends solve complex challenges and enhance productivity.
You thrive under pressure able towork independently while managing tight deadlines making confident decisions to keep operations running smoothly. With adeep understanding of customs and logistics youll ensure compliance efficiency and seamless service delivery.
Communication is crucial in this role so fluency inEnglishand the ability to buildstrong business-to-business relationshipswill set you up for success. Finally adegree or equivalent certificationwill reinforce your expertise and strategic approach to leadership in this ever-evolving industry.

Salary banding is approximately 16500 to 20000 PLN per moth plus bonus.
