_{The Med/Surg Registered Nurse provides high-quality compassionate care to adult patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. This role involves planning implementing and evaluating patient care based on established clinical practice standards. The RN may also assume charge nurse duties as assigned contributing to a team-oriented and patient-centered environment.}

_{Key Responsibilities:}

_{Deliver direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.}
_{Administer medications treatments and procedures safely and accurately.}
_{Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.}
_{Monitor and document patient conditions reporting changes promptly.}
_{Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions.}
_{Serve as charge nurse when assigned providing leadership and coordination for unit staff.}
_{Adhere to infection prevention protocols and safety standards.}

_{Qualifications:}

_{Licensure & Certification:}

_{Current RN license through the Board of Nursing}
_{BLS certification (AHA) required}
_{ACLS preferred}

_Experience:

_{Minimum of 1 year acute care nursing experience required}

_{Skills & Abilities:}

_{Strong communication and interpersonal skills}
_{Effective organizational and leadership abilities}
_{Demonstrated knowledge of age-specific patient needs and nursing care}
_{Physically able to stand walk lift bend and move patients and equipment}
