Job Summary

Job Title: Quality Inspector / Cut & Etch

Pay: Based on experience
Shift: 2nd Shift 2:00 PM Start Time
Contract: 90-day contract to hire

We are seeking a Quality Inspector / Cut & Etch Technician to join our team. This position plays a critical role in inspecting and documenting weld quality through sample preparation and microscopic evaluation.

Responsibilities:

Receive and prepare metal alloy or component samples for analysis.
Perform cut and etch inspections using microscopes (Keyence or other).
Identify weld quality issues including cracks porosity inclusions and structural flaws.
Document microstructure and surface conditions accurately.
Capture and archive photographic evidence for reporting
Maintain thorough inspection records for traceability and audit compliance.

Qualifications:

Experience with Keyence or similar microscope equipment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
Background in welding inspection metallurgy or quality preferred.
High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Schedule:

2nd Shift 2:00 PM start
Monday Friday with occasional overtime as needed
