Work Schedule

1st Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
Location: 4106 Wheeler Ave. Alexandria VA 22304

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician ensures the efficient reliable operation of high-speed processing and packaging equipment. This role involves troubleshooting installing repairing and maintaining production machinery to minimize downtime while upholding food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot install repair and maintain production and processing machinery including:
- Hydraulic & pneumatic systems
- Robotics motors pumps conveyors and cooking equipment
Diagnose malfunctioning components and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and manufacturer manuals.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs.
Accurately complete maintenance records work orders and task documentation.
Follow Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to ensure safety.
Support setup startup adjustments shutdowns and changeovers to meet production goals.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of control systems.
Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (mechanical & electrical).
Ability to read and interpret technical documents schematics and manuals.
Manufacturing or food production experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated commitment to safety reliability and continuous improvement.
