Summary:

• Develops publication elements for all levels of maintenance for new or fielded major equipment systems or multiple subsystems.

• Content includes theory of operations flight manuals testing and troubleshooting procedures illustrated parts breakdowns removal and installation procedures and schematic diagrams.

• Resolve source data gaps and inconsistencies with originators.

• Provide art mark-ups and update publication elements based on reviews source data changes or equipment modifications.

• Collect research and analyze source data (equipment requirements maintenance concepts task analyses workflows and design concepts) to assess impact on technical publications.

• Identify and correct source data inaccuracies; validate source data assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews for technical accuracy and compliance with customer standards.

• Support customer verification reviews and take corrective action based on outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree and 3 years of related experience or a masters degree and 1 year or 7 years of equivalent related work experience.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

• Proficiency with MS Office products.

• Familiarity with XML (eXtensible Markup Language).

• Experience with Contenta.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with S1000D and Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) publications.
