Description

The GDS Data Maintenance Administrator Intern plays a key role in supporting Emersons Global Data Services (GDS) team responsible for maintaining the Oracle and JDE Address Book for global Emerson sites. This role focuses on updating and validating Customer Supplier and Intercompany position also contributes to Oracle projects by validating data elements and assisting with team reporting requirements.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry in Oracle and JDE Address Book for Customer Supplier and Intercompany information in line with Service Level Agreements.
  • Validate company and address information using different sources and business tools.
  • Process requests through web-based Request Forms.
  • Support data entry automation through the Auto Upload system.
  • Assist with Oracle projects by validating GDS data elements.
  • Contribute to reporting requirements and other tasks assigned by the Global Data Services team.

    For This Role You Will Need:

  • Excellent comprehension of English (written and spoken).
  • Proven understanding or strong interest in Business IT or Finance. Relevant education or projects in these areas are a distinct advantage.
  • Good experience with database manipulation and solid knowledge of Excel.
  • Speedy and accurate data entry skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge or appreciation of other European languages is a distinct advantage.

    Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Prior experience in data entry database management or working with ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with Oracle or JDE systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
