Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager Data Science!
We are seeking a highly skilled and tech-savvy candidate with a strong background in SQL development data engineering and machine learning to bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Databricks ETL processes and advanced analytics tools and frameworks. You will work cross-functionally with business stakeholders data engineers and data scientists to deliver scalable solutions that drive business value automate insights and support intelligent decision-making.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into data and ML-driven solutions.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction manipulation and reporting.
Work with Databricks for data preparation analytics and pipeline orchestration.
Design and implement ETL workflows to support data integration from multiple sources.
Support and guide data engineering activities including data modelling pipeline creation and architecture discussions.
Develop and maintain Python-based scripts and notebooks for data analysis and predictive modelling.
Contribute to the development and deployment of machine learning models particularly those involving computer vision use cases.
Implement and monitor MLOps pipelines to automate model training testing and deployment.
Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders using dashboards visualizations or presentations.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience - Sound experience in business/data analysis roles with increasing technical responsibility.
Proficiency in SQL and experience as a SQL Developer.
Hands-on experience with Databricks for data and model workflows.
Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and tools (e.g. Apache Airflow Data Factory Informatica Talend etc.).
Proven experience in data engineering using Python and modern data stack tools.
Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and practical implementations.
Experience working with computer vision models (OpenCV TensorFlow or PyTorch preferred).
Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools like MLflow Docker Kubernetes CI/CD pipelines and model monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Engineering or related field.
Experience in cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Business acumen and ability to translate analytics into business impact.
