Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Analyst to join our Securities Services Data Platform team in Bangalore. The Analyst will support the development maintenance and enhancement of our data lake solutions working closely with the Executive Director Vice Presidents engineering and business teams. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with leading data technologies and contribute to high-impact projects in the securities services domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
Perform data analysis to support business requirements generate insights and prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders. - Data Quality & Validation:
Assist in monitoring and validating data quality lineage and integrity across the data lake. Support the implementation of data quality frameworks and tools. - Data Pipeline Support:
Collaborate with engineering teams to support data ingestion processing and transformation activities with exposure to Databricks and other cloud data platforms. - Documentation & Metadata Management:
Maintain accurate documentation of data sources processes and metadata. Ensure transparency and traceability of data assets. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Work with business users technology teams and other partners to gather requirements and support the delivery of data solutions. - Compliance & Governance:
Support data governance initiatives including adherence to data security and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in data analysis data engineering or related roles (internships and academic projects considered).
- Familiarity with data lake technologies (e.g. Databricks Hadoop Spark AWS Azure) is a plus.
- Experience with SQL Python or other data analysis tools preferred.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in securities services financial data or capital markets is an advantage.
