The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy is currently looking for a Design Engineer to join our team in Sevlievo Bulgaria. This team seeks a skilled and motivated person.

Working in the engineering team provides a chance to get a broad knowledge of our unit and products. The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic fast-paced business environment. You must be flexible to accommodate business requirements and experience in working with diverse groups and cultures. The ability to multitask & deliver within timelines is essential.

How youll make an impact:

Create change and data processing of the construction of mechanical details;
Designs engineering solutions including drawings and calculations according to specification. Contributes to design reviews and design verification modifies design as necessary;
Develops selects and applies standard techniques procedures and tools in the performance of engineering tasks;
Communicates with the supply chain function reviews vendor documentation provides design related evaluation of proposals for standard materials and equipment;
Follow for on quality and on time project execution;
Assists in communication with customer pertaining to specific project design assignments or meetings;
Work closely with all functions and reports inefficient process and tools by providing ideas for improvement.

Your background:

A bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering;
Knowledge of engineering techniques processes and tools;
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required;
Good capability on Microsoft office software package;
Knowledge of design software 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (preferred SolidWorks) is required;
Proactive result-oriented person with excellent personal and teamwork skills;
Communicative and personally motivated to achieve goals open for changes.
