Job Summary:

Underwriting assistant for the E & S service team. Communication with agents and carriers to successfully provide quality service to our agents. The Underwriting Assistant supports the underwriting staff by carrying out various support tasks. Prior insurance experience preferred but NOT required.

Responsibilities:

Communication with agents and carriers to successfully provide quality service to our agents

The Underwriting Assistant supports the underwriting staff by carrying out various support tasks

Issuance of endorsements binders and policies

Manage and coordinate the filing of documentation as it relates to policies

Response to submissions e-mails messages within a timely manner

Requirements:

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office

Have strong communication and computer skills

Must be highly organized detailed oriented and have excellent time management skills

Must have strong teamwork skills

Education/Experience:

High School Degree

College degree is a plus
