The Accounts Payable Team Leader is responsible for supervising the accounts payable team ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments maintaining vendor relationships and supporting month-end and year-end financial closings. If you are passionate about innovative and international environment and AP Accounting wed love to meet you!Supervise and lead a team of AP clerks/specialists.
Oversee invoice processing payment runs and expense reimbursements.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Monitor AP aging reports and resolve outstanding issues with vendors.
Coordinate with procurement and other departments to ensure proper invoice matching and coding.
Assist with month-end closing tasks including accruals and reconciliations.
Train and develop team members to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of AP procedures and controls.
Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
Proven experience in accounts payable or general accounting (5-7 years) within an international company
Previous supervisory experience required.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices.
Experience with accounting software Netsuite preferred
Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organizational analytical and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
