Job Description
In this role you will join the Engineering Development Program (EDP).â You will be responsible for carrying out entry-level Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering assignments. As an Engineer in the EDP you will have theopportunity to rotate every six months among various engineering teams across the company such as; the Innovation Lab System Planning Protection Substation Transmission Generation Distribution SCADA Meter Automation Gas Operations and Efficiency Engineering. The EDP program is a two-year program.â â

You will collaborate with engineers project managers and other stakeholders across the company. Work duties will encompass a broad range of engineering aspects to support design and analysis as well as offering the potential for field engineering support of construction activities for both capital improvement and maintenance projects. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative learning manner to foster growth and development of individuals programs and the company. There is the potential for involvement with innovative projects using state of the art techniques and methodologies. Requires constant collaboration on multi-functional project teams to assist in the successful completion of projects big and small.

Requirements
  • ABET accredited Bachelors degree in Engineering or its equivalent in technical training with an EIT certificate
  • Preference will be given to applicants with internships/work experience with utilities
  • Effective and flexible communication skills
  • 0-1 years engineering work experience preferred

Hiring Range: $65410 to $84379

Hybrid work options are available for this role. The successful candidate will be required to work at our Spokane Washington headquarters at least 3 days per week including Mondays and Tuesdays with additional day(s) determined by the manager.

    In compliance with state laws we provide the full salary range for each position along with the typical hiring range based on qualifications experience and internal equity.
