Work hours:Full Time (Days) 7a-7p. Weekend and holiday requirements

Medical Surgical Department highlights:

30-bed General Medical Surgical Tele unit fast paced quick turnover

Experience with tele surgical plastics bariatrics spine highly preferred.

1:5 patient ratio PCT for every 10-15 patients

Heres What You Need

Nursing Diploma Nursing Req Or Associates Degree Nursing Req Or Bachelors Degree Nursing Pref

Experience 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req

Licenses and Certifications RN -Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req And ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support charge only 90 Days Req

What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

Assesses the patient

Plans the care of the patient

Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift inter-hospital and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
