Position Summary The Kinesiology and Sport Department in the Pott College of Science Engineering and Education at the University of Southern Indiana invites applications for a 9-month tenure track Assistant Professor of Kinesiology and Sport position beginning Fall 2026. |
Duties/Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching 12 credit hours per semester of undergraduate courses advising students providing academic service to the department college university community and profession and engaging in scholarly activities. The Exercise Science Program is CAAHEP-CoAES accredited. |
Required Knowledge and Skills A Doctorate in Biomechanics Exercise Physiology Exercise Science or Kinesiology is required. ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of Instructor if the terminal degree will be completed by the end of their first year of employment. If employment starts in August 2026 terminal degree must be completed by the end of July 2027. |
