Job Description Summary
Work in an optics research lab to support the design and development of a versatile control system for experimental setups. The project involves hardware-software co-design to enable precise actuation and measurement in optical experiments as well as learning and using relevant software tools that support the scope of the optics project. This position offers hands-on experience in building systems that interface with optical components and support a range of research activities.

Hardware-software co-design for a controlled optical system Develop and test embedded code and control interfaces Data acquisition and analysis to improve the design Use relevant software tools that support the scope of the optics project
Required Qualifications
FSE student with experience in programming languages including Python Experience with coding Arduino microcontroller Basic knowledge of the research topic Willingness to learn and follow instructions Good communication and teamwork skills
