Job Summary The Event Coordinator provides comprehensive event management including the planning organization and execution of presidential events along with providing executive administrative support for the day-to-day event activities of the president including donor stewardship initiatives and high-level engagements. The incumbent plays a key role in advancing presidential priorities development strategies and institutional goals ensuring that all events and engagements reflect the universitys mission values and traditions. This position requires a high level of professionalism discretion and technical & organizational skill to support the Presidents Office in delivering seamless impactful experiences for internal and external stakeholders. |

Key Qualifications - Demonstrated customer service experience requiring a high level of diplomacy and professionalism.
- Demonstrated experience successfully planning and executing high level special events which requires an extensive degree of protocol decorum and technical savviness.
- Ability to use tact and diplomacy to effectively handle a broad range of high level and sensitive interpersonal situations with diverse personalities and to respond appropriately to conflicts and problems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to set own priorities to coordinate multiple assignments with fluctuating and time-sensitive deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Education and Experience Education and Experience: - High school diploma or its equivalent. Four years of general office support experience involving a wide variety of duties and responsibilities. (Training at a vocation school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on basis of one year of college education for 6 months of experience).
Licenses Certificates Credentials: - Possession of a valid drivers license of the ability to obtain by the date of hire.

Salary and Benefits Anticipated Hiring Range: $72000 - $84000 per year
Classification Range: $50748 - $92436 per year Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience skills knowledge abilities education licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.
