Job Description
Introduction
Shimano is a leading worldwide supplier of highly advanced bicycle components fishing tackle and other sports equipment. This position is at Shimano Europe at our HQ in Eindhoven which coordinates the activities with regard to sales planning service product development and marketing of its subsidiaries and distributors that are located across Europe. Shimano Europe maintains intensive contacts with distributors original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) wholesalers and the bicycle retail business. Our mission is: To promote health and happiness through the enjoyment of nature and the world around us.You will report to the Team Leader Supply Chain Planning Bike or Fishing. You will be part of an enthusiastic this role you will also work closely together with many stakeholders; Sales Offices within Europe Product/Brand Management Logistics and our suppliers worldwide.
The Challenge
- You do sanity checks on sales forecasting do the operational purchasing manage the stock make the planning and check the availability of your product groups.
- You are the first point of contact when it comes to stock availability delivery times and customer-specific orders of your product groups.
- You monitor delivery reliability in a constantly changing market.
- You know how to keep an overview in a hectic environment.
- You work closely with colleagues from various departments such as Sales Product Development & Marketing Brand Coordination and 3PL warehousing.
- You have daily contact with suppliers and various assembly parties.
- You analyze the developments that affect the supply chain and set out actions based on this.
What are we looking for
- You have at least an HBO working and thinking level.
- You have preferably experience with SLIM4
- You have experience in supply chain and stock-driven planning of products.
- You have excellent knowledge of Excel and are analytically strong.
- You have excellent communication skills in English as well as Dutch.
- You are a great organizational talent who knows when which colleague is needed to get the job done.
- You know how to address partners in an enthusiastic and respectful way.
