Functional Analyst

*1 Year Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Functional Analyst position! This is a 12 month contract with potential to extend and will be hybrid in Charlotte NC (preferred). Remote candidates will be considered with quarterly travel for PI planning.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Support enterprise-level applications through system analysis configuration QA and escalated support.
• Partner with business teams third-party vendors developers and end users to gather and translate business needs into application requirements.
• Draft and finalize requirements documentation ensuring validation and sign-off from stakeholders.
• Act as the primary liaison between the business and development teams to clarify and validate system requirements.
• Maintain documentation and deliverables in alignment with established standards.
• Write and execute functional test scripts and collaborate with other analysts for system integration testing.
• Evaluate system deliverables to ensure quality and defect-free deployment.
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and manage shifting priorities.
• Develop a deep understanding of complex business processes and facilitate decisions across diverse user groups.

What Youll Need to Have:

• Bachelors degree required.
• 4 years of demonstrated experience in a hands on functional analysis role preferably someone with prior data experience.
• Proven ability to write user stories application requirements and process flow diagrams.
• SQL experience (Microsoft SQL Server).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Skilled in requirements elicitation through techniques like user interviews process analysis shadowing and brainstorming.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Effective at managing conflicting priorities and building consensus across teams.
• Highly committed to supporting business users and delivering value.
• General understanding of application architecture and enterprise technology environments.
• Familiarity with tools such as Confluence.
• Knowledge of REST APIs.
• Formal training or certifications in Business Analysis facilitation or project management preferred.
• Experience with data analysis is a plus.

Pay Range:$50-$55/hr
