Description
The System Engineer should have a strong background in vSphere Administration and Windows System Administration installing maintaining patching VMs operating in multiple disparate environments. Responsible for designing deploying configuring and troubleshooting VDI solutions using VMware Horizon to include operation of virtual desktops optimizing performances and ensuring security across all VDI environments.
Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in System Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Science Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
IAT Level II required at start.

- Skilled in Ansible or similar automation technologies for configuration management maintenance and deployment of operating systems & applications.
- Virtualization/VMware (AWS AZURE or similar).
- Bash Scripting.
- Kubernetes (K8s)/Containerization.
- Skilled in System Scanning Patching & Monitoring.
- Familiar with GitLab or similar.
- Familiar with Jira or similar.
- Strong communication skills self-starter who can work independently or with team to debug & resolve issues.
