Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Delivery Driver / Material Handler to join our team in Edmond OK. This role is central to ensuring efficient and timely delivery of materials such as rebar forming lumber site supplies and termite pretreatment equipment. As a Delivery Driver / Material Handler youll help maintain smooth warehouse operations while providing outstanding customer service on every delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials to designated locations on schedule.
- Accurately pick load and prepare orders for delivery.
- Unload materials at delivery sites ensuring proper handling practices.
- Maintain a clean organized and efficient loading area.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment regularly reporting any safety concerns.
- Track incoming/outgoing materials to support warehouse inventory management.
- Assist with stocking and organizing warehouse materials.
- Deliver excellent customer service during all deliveries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivery driving a flatbed and material handling.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of safe material handling and loading/unloading practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Basic logistics or supply chain knowledge is a plus.
