Role Overview

Coupang is looking for a driven customer obsessed and creative candidate to help us drive ourexisting brands and acquire new vendors/sellers.

The Brand Manager will be primarily responsible for 1) setting brand strategies 2) expandingselection for existing brands

3) improving business terms and 4) driving the top and bottom line of the overall P&L.

What You Will Do

Manage new and existing sellers- manage day-to-day relationships and

consistently work to expand our selection.

Build collaborative relationships with internal teams and vendor partners

Manage multiple projects while maintaining high operational standards

Provide Support to the direct manager

Basic Qualifications

This candidate should have previous experience in buying/vendor management or new business development as well as a background in retail or ecommerce. They must be able to work in a highly demanding but collegial environment where teamwork is a must. The right candidate will be a self-starter able to work with minimal direction be flexible action and results oriented.

• 2 years of experience in buying product management vendor management retail e-commerce
• Understanding of eCommerce and marketplace dynamics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data tools
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant experience in retail operations or e-commerce.
• Proven experience supporting cross-functional projects
• Ability to work with ambiguous problems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills - speaking writing presenting and negotiating
• A willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done

Pay & Benefits:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. At Coupang your base pay is one part of your total base pay for this position ranges from $72000/year in our lowest geographic market to $133000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.
