SUMMARY
Under limited supervision responsible for repair adjustments and ongoing maintenance of facilities. Be a creative and proactive contributor focused on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical painting and/or carpentry repairs on fixtures equipment and facility structures during the swing shift.
- Support installation relocation and reinstallation of new and existing equipment as directed.
- Maintain and repair production support systems including air compressors air dryers and vacuum systems.
- Conduct basic engineering calculations for proposed equipment installations or modifications.
- Update and maintain mechanical prints and diagrams to reflect changes and improvements.
- Maintain air conditioning heating and ventilation systems per manufacturer specifications.
- Provide timely proposals or recommendations for upgrades replacements or process improvements to the Facilities Supervisor or Manager.
- Keep accurate maintenance records for all assigned equipment and tasks.
- Perform routine troubleshooting and inspections to identify and document necessary maintenance actions.
- Follow all preventive maintenance instructions and document activities in the maintenance system.
- Adhere strictly to safety health and environmental policies including OSHA standards and internal safety programs.
- Comply with all company security and operational procedures during swing shift operations.
- Provide after-hours support during emergencies or as requested by management.
- Adhere to all company security and confidentiality policies.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in facilities or industrial maintenance.
- Strong mechanical electrical and technical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during swing shift hours.
- Flexibility to support overtime or weekend shifts when required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills for effective shift coverage.
- Prior experience in a swing shift or similar non-standard schedule role.
